Little Black Dress Initiative
Join the Fight Against Domestic Violence
The Junior League of Murfreesboro is launching a powerful, week-long campaign to confront the devastating impact of domestic violence on women. We’re calling on the entire community—members and beyond—to stand with us in solidarity. For five consecutive days, participants will wear a black dress or black attire, along with a button that says, “Ask Me About My Dress.” This simple yet impactful gesture sparks vital conversations, raising awareness and empathy for survivors.
Through social media, participants will amplify the message by sharing reflections, stories, and insights each day. Every post, every conversation is an opportunity to challenge societal norms, raise awareness, and drive change. This initiative is not only about awareness; it’s also about action. Funds raised during this campaign will directly support resources for survivors and efforts to combat domestic violence in our community.
Your participation matters. Together, we can break the silence around domestic violence and create a safer, more supportive world for everyone. Stand with survivors, join the conversation, and donate to make a real difference in the lives of those affected. Let’s build a future free from violence and full of hope.
