EmpowHER: Save the Date

The Junior League of Murfreesboro is excited to bring EmpowHER back to the community on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Originally supported by our  New Member Class, EmpowHER was designed to support and encourage middle school girls during a pivotal stage of life. What began as a new member project has grown into a meaningful community opportunity focused on confidence, leadership, connection, and self-worth.

EmpowHER gives local young women the chance to learn from positive role models, build practical life skills, and participate in conversations that help them see their own strength and potential.

About EmpowHER

Adolescence is filled with both opportunity and challenge. EmpowHER was created to help middle school girls navigate this season with confidence, resilience, and support.

Through interactive sessions and intentional programming, participants will explore topics such as self-esteem, leadership, goal setting, communication, healthy relationships, and personal growth.

What to Expect

EmpowHER is designed to be engaging, encouraging, and age-appropriate for middle school girls. The event may include:

• Interactive workshops focused on confidence, leadership, and life skills
• Breakout sessions designed to encourage communication and connection
• Conversations with women leaders and positive role models
• Activities that foster creativity, friendship, and self-expression
• Take-home resources to help participants continue building confidence beyond the event

Why It Matters

EmpowHER is more than a one-day event. It is an opportunity to plant seeds of confidence, leadership, and self-worth in the lives of young women in our community.

The Junior League of Murfreesboro believes in developing the potential of women, and that work begins by encouraging the next generation to recognize their voice, value, and ability to lead.
